Core advantage: leveling refunds 2 Gold, netting a 2-Gold discount per tier upgrade, enabling a more aggressive leveling curve than other heroes. Classic curve: freeze a 2-Gold spell on turn 1 for a smooth turn 2, then buy one minion and level straight to Tier 3 on turn 4. The Hero Power is purely passive with no activation needed, but demands precise tier timing — the refund only applies on the current turn, so you must plan ahead for how to maximize the remaining Gold after leveling.
