Secrets of Norgannon
Rules
Tavern Tier 7 exists, and every hero starts with 10 extra Armor.
Tier 7 can be reached by upgrading beyond Tier 6. While you are on Tier 6, Triple rewards can Discover Tier 7 minions because they award a minion one Tier higher.
Game plan
Use the extra Armor as a buffer, not permission to ignore tempo. Build enough strength and economy to survive the expensive path through Tier 6 and Tier 7.
Decide between upgrading and using Tier 6 Triple rewards based on health, upgrade cost, and current pairs. A timely Triple can access Tier 7 without spending the full upgrade cost immediately.
Once a Tier 7 minion is found, support its actual engine. Do not replace a complete composition with an isolated high-Tier body that lacks compatible triggers.
Suitable heroes
Forest Warden Omu: upgrade refunds reduce the tempo loss of climbing through the extra Tavern Tier.
Thorim, Stormlord: the selected Tier 7 minion gives a clear late-game destination, while the lobby rule also allows additional Tier 7 access.
Reno Jackson: making a key Tier 7 engine Golden can convert one premium discovery into a complete win condition.
Tribes and compositions
Every tribe can benefit if its Tier 7 payoff is available, but the correct path depends on the lobby's minion types and the engine already assembled.
Economy-rich and scaling compositions are best positioned to absorb the upgrade cost and then cycle for premium minions.
Tier 6 pairs are especially valuable because their Triple rewards can access Tier 7 before a full upgrade.
Cautions
The extra 10 Armor is finite. Greedy upgrades can still lead to elimination before Tier 7 produces value.
Tier 7 minions are scarce and contested. Keep a playable fallback instead of spending every turn searching for one exact card.
Higher Tavern damage and expensive upgrades increase volatility, so reassess health and opponent strength before each leveling turn.
