Active Hero Power "Runic Curse": 1 Gold, destroy a friendly Undead to get a random Undead card (unlocked at Tavern Tier 2). Current armor: 10, win rate ~26.6%. Buddy "Maw Soul Warden". Only appears in Undead lobbies. Launched in Patch 24.6 (November 2022). The original Hero Power was "Give a minion +1/+1; upgrades after 9 friendly minions die," reworked to the current version in Patch 33.6. Core strategy: acquire Tidehunter pairs early — each time you kill a crab with the Hero Power, you essentially get a free Undead; or use the power on Cadaver Caretaker to directly complete a Triple. Essentially "sacrifice Undead minions for new cards," giving you extremely strong resource cycling within the Undead archetype. The low win rate suggests a high skill floor — precise timing of sacrifice and target selection is required.
