Profile

• Trait: “Wisdom of Ancients” costs 3 Gold to increase maximum Gold by 1. His exclusive Buddy, “Malorne,” is a Tier 3 1/1 Beast with +1/+1 for every 3 Gold spent this game; the Golden version gains +2/+2 instead.

Playstyle

1. Early game: Establish a functional board before committing 3 Gold to the Hero Power. Earlier investments have more turns to pay back, but forcing them while weak can cost substantial Health.
2. Key turns: Compare the repayment horizon with leveling and buying immediate strength. Invest when planning several future high-Gold turns; under heavy pressure, convert current Gold into board strength first.
3. Mid to late game: Use the higher cap to search for core pieces, pivot, and sustain scaling. Malorne counts spending across the entire game and may arrive with useful stats, but still evaluate whether a large standalone body deserves a final board slot.

Strengths

• The Hero Power permanently expands the economy, providing additional resources over several turns when purchased early enough.
• Malorne retroactively converts ordinary spending into stats without requiring a separate combat or shop trigger.

Weaknesses

• Each activation spends 3 current Gold without improving the board, leaving Cenarius exposed before the investment pays back.
• A higher cap matters only when the Gold can be spent efficiently; low Health, limited slots, and turn time all reduce its value.
